The MEGALungs is an educational, mobile experience using our 8-foot inflatable, walk-through lung exhibit. Children and adults can learn about the structure of the lung and its functions as well as lung health problems, including asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, lung cancer, pneumonia, and pulmonary embolism.
The MEGALungs is not a permanent exhibit in the Museum. Keep an eye on our Calendar for dates it will be available to view at the Museum.
School Visits
The Northeast Texas Children’s Museum has an educational outreach program for fourth grade students using the MEGALungs. Students will learn about the physiology of the lungs, common lung diseases, and hands-on experiences with a diaphragm model and pulse oximeters.
