The Northeast Texas Children’s Museum provides opportunities for a playful and creative learning experience. The Museum’s hands-on exhibits and programs are ideal for children ages 2 to 10, but children of all ages are welcome.

The MEGA Lung is an educational, interactive experience using our 8-foot inflatable, walk-through lung exhibit. Visitors can learn about the structure of the lung and its functions as well as lung health problems, including:

  • Asthma
  • Bronchitis
  • Lung cancer
  • Pulmonary embolism
  • Pneumonia
  • Emphysema

The Northeast Texas Children’s Museum has an educational outreach program for fourth grade students using the MEGA Lung as “Lonnie the Lung”. Find out more information about our Lonnie the Lung program.
