ABOUT THE NORTHEAST TEXAS CHILDREN'S MUSEUM

The Northeast Texas Children’s Museum opened its doors in 2002. In 2019, we purchased our current building and seven acres at 100 Maple Street. We have served children from across the United States, providing a creative and enriching learning experience through the museum’s many exhibits. We are thankful for our many friends and supporters. With help from the generous contributions from families, companies, and individuals, we are able to increase our programming, enhance our exhibit areas, and introduce new workshops and performers. The Northeast Texas Children’s Museum provides opportunities for a playful and creative learning experience. The Museum’s hands-on exhibits and planned activities serve to enhance and supplement classroom curriculum.

OUR MISSION

The mission of the Northeast Texas Children’s Museum is to inspire imagination, enhance creativity and build confidence in children.

GOAL STATEMENT

We will accomplish the mission of the Northeast Texas Children’s Museum by investing in hands-on, minds-on opportunities for children to engage in activities that will strengthen their intellect and prepare them for a future of competition and collaboration in the world.
